The Escape method converts RFC 2396 reserved characters and all characters with a character value greater than 127 to hexadecimal representation. All Unicode characters are converted to UTF-8 format before being escaped. In computing and telecommunication, an escape character is a character which invokes an alternative interpretation on subsequent characters in a character sequence. This script makes a string portable, so it can be transmitted across any network to any computer that supports ASCII characters. This script encodes special characters, with the exception of: * @ - _ + . /. The escaped result will work with almost any encoding, and is also useful for putting source code on a web page.
